An ode to the foedre! Foedres are large format oak barrels, and can do phenomenal things for beer. This particular foedre was made in South Australia just after World War II, and spent quite some time ageing port before being re-coopered and re-purposed for Hop Nation's Site Fermentation Project. Incredibly complex and overwhelmingly refreshing, this has a crisp acidity and is an absolute treat to drink.
