About Us

Hopheads is a bar and bottleshop dedicated to selling the absolute best Australian and International beers.

Our original venue was founded in May 2015 and stemmed from the relevant question (at the time) – ‘why aren’t there any good beer stores and bars in the west?’ 

Founder and beer afficionado Adrian Chong and co-founder Wai Lee Yong were tired of having to travel across town to access quality beers, so they took it upon themselves to right this egregious wrong – and so the idea of Hopheads was born.

Hopheads has since expanded to a second venue in Altona and a third venue in Yarraville.

We remain passionate about making the West-side the best-side for beer in Victoria. The story and journey of Hopheads is a long way from finished, stay tuned 😊
